A professional club environment for grassroots football players, creating opportunities for all players to reach their potential

  • #PROgression – History of providing progression routes for players
  • #PROven – FA Licenced Football Provider

The TSC Football Academy was set up to push gifted and talented players onto the next level. The aim of the academy is to coach players to reach their individual potential and to help them progress in the game.

The majority of TSC Football Academy coaches have experience working in professional club academy systems and have huge experience in player development.

Our coaching staff (see our staff here – link to coaching staff page) follow the TSC DNA coaching curriculum which helps all players develop their technical base and tactical understanding. We have a highly technical programme which helps create decision makers. The success of this programme has seen many players move into professional club academies from TSC

Players within our academy continue to play for their club teams. We are there to help their technical development and to help improve their performance in their club environment.

Occasionally our academy plays fixtures against professional clubs. So far, we have competed against Arsenal, Chelsea, West Ham, Crystal Palace, Brighton and Gillingham. Once a year our academy players are invited onto our European Tour to play in some of the biggest tournaments in Europe. Our tours have included: Barcelona (where we played against FC Barcelona) Holland and Belgium.

Each phase works the 8 key characteristics of a TSC player:

    • Creativity
  • Out of Possession
    • 1v1 defending
    • Defend as part of a group
  • Transition
    • How do we react when we win the ball?
    • How do we react when we lose the ball?
